This topic only contain the general rules for the event, the specific rules for each competition will be on the repective topics of that event.
Behavior
The players must respect each other. If they don’t respect, and offend each other, the persons involved in it might get banned from competing for the remaining of the World Cup. Besides, it’s not allowed to spam or to write in Caps Lock during races. In case you get offended, please communicate to us, the organization, about the case, and we’ll review it and sanction the player that offended you.
Language: Since this is a world competition, the official language is English. In case the player doesn’t speak English, he can ask us in Portuguese, and we’ll answer the question both in Portuguese and in English. Hosts: For each event, the organization, that being us, we’ll select the host. In case the host isn’t online 5 minutes before the event starts, any other member that is able to host can host the event, as long as he takes the necessary prints at the end of each stage. The prints should include the top 10 of each stage (the host can also send us the exported excel file of the results), and in case of the team competition, also prints of each mountain sprint and intermediate sprint.
Players: Only the players that signed up for each event can compete in said event. In case a player enters in an event that he didn’t signed up for, he might risk getting banned from the World Cup.
Bad behavior: It's possible to take actions on a player that constantly ask's to punish another player or have a provocative behaving in game. If someone breaks this rule you can report it on a private message to one member of the organization (with clear evidences). Any attemptive to disrupt a good environment will be punish.
Racing Rules
The database will use it, as accustomed, a ladder database, which will be made available to the players in the downloads topic. We remember that only the host is required to download the database, and that the players don’t need to download it. • Speed of the Race: x1 • Difficulty Level: Easy • Passive AI: Yes • Sensations: Turned off • Varying Conditions: Turned off
Solo Events: Each player is free to play as they want, according to the game’s possibilities. While it’s allowed that player help each other in certain race circumstances (for example, a breakaway), it’s strictly forbidden to team play. In other words, it’s forbidden any kind of help between players, without having advantage to it. If in case of team play between players, the organization will punish the players with either the exclusion of that event, or of the whole competition if the case is serious enough.
Team Events: Each team is free to play as they want, according to the game’s possibilities. Like in solo events, it’s allowed that teams help each other in certain race circumstances. Team play is strictly forbidden. If, for example, Portugal 1 and 2 are playing at the same time, they can’t play as a single team, but as separate teams. If this rule is broken, the players in question will have to face the consequences. If a player has a bug during the first 20km’s of the stage, it should mention in the topic dedicated to bugs. The host should always have his eye on this topic in case of one of the players in his room has a bug. Each player has 2 available restarts. If the player uses both restarts, he can’t compete in the remaining event. This rule isn’t valid for the track events.
Advice: To improve the experience, you should play with minimum graphics, to reduce loading time and lag on the server, in order to use the less time possible.
Results
The results of each event will be placed in the event topic. The host will have to post there the results of each group, in orders for the organization to count the results. In case there’s any observation that the host thinks it’s necessary to add, it should be posted together with the results. For the track events, the host should take a screenshot of the result with the online names of each player. As we’ve mentioned, for the road events, the host should post the top 10 results screen, the mountain sprint and intermediate sprint and, if available, send us the exported results file. The final results of each round (e.g. the qualified players for each round) will be announced in the event topic. The players who didn’t directly qualify into a certain round will be entered into a recap round, where they can compete for the last entry into the round.
