Every player receives points for what he does on the pitch, based on the statistic analysis of the match. Depending on their success players will receive positive or sometimes even negative points. The following points are awarded during the evaluation:

* A Key Contribution (assist) is awarded to a player who plays the final successful pass which leads to a goal. Please note that Key Contributions are not awarded to players who are fouled for free-kicks or penalties which lead to goals, for own goals or for goals which result from rebounds off other players or the woodwork.

Your team captain, which you can change for each gameweek, will score double points.

* Only 2009-10 League games will be taken into account.
* A player receiving two Yellow Cards and consequently a Red Card will score -3 points for the red card.
* Only players listed as Goalkeepers and Defenders in the game will lose points for conceding goals.
* Goalkeepers and Defenders will only lose points for goals conceded when they are on the pitch.
* Clean Sheet points are awarded only when the team finishes the game with a clean sheet and to any player who has played 60 minutes or more of the game.
* Points will not be changed if goals are subsequently re-assigned by the FA’s Dubious Goals Committee. Likewise, points are not changed for yellow and red cards rescinded after the match has taken place.
* All Key Contributions are reviewed within 48-72 hours of games finishing.
